Kawana Business Village Precinct has welcomed one of Queensland’s leading environmental consultancies, following the launch of a permanent presence on the Sunshine Coast.
NGH Wild Environmental has made a move to grow its core service locations by adding the lifestyle location at Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. The office will be led by previous NQ Regional Manager Adam Folkers, with support from Managing Director Nicholas Baker.
The new location adds to the spread of regional offices in the major economic hubs of Townsville and Brisbane. We have been active in the region for several years and have supported some of the country’s leading companies as well public sector clients. [The new office] will enable us to provide greater support to organisations in the Sunshine Coast, Gympie, and Fraser Coast areas.”
Headquartered in Townsville, Queensland, Wild’s team of highly experienced environmental consultants across the State provide specialist services to mining, renewables, transport, and aquaculture industries. The decision builds on the opportunity to better position the firm for winning work under local procurement rules, said company founder Nick Baker. The expansion into the Sunshine Coast represents an exciting new chapter in the Company’s growth.
The announcement comes in the year that the firm is celebrating its 6th anniversary. Founded in 2016, NGH Wild Environmental has a headcount of over 20 staff, offering services such as environmental impact assessment, ecology, fauna spotter catchers and contaminant land investigations.
